Home is an essential part of our lives.  Our home reflects who we are and how we connect with others whilst providing security and comfort.

With the right opportunities, planning and support, not only is it possible for people with disability to have a home of their own, but it can be a cornerstone of a life in community.

This workshop facilitated by Valued Lives is packed with practical information and resources to her you understand individualised living and discover what is possible.

Our speakers will discuss the individualised and innovative ways people with disability care create their homes while getting the support they need.

You’ll hear inspiration stories from people with disability and their families, as to how they made their goal a reality.

  • Creating your vision of what home is
  • First steps to consider when creating a home of your own
  • The different home options and creative supports available
  • Addressing barriers, challenges and fears
